Service Description

The Priority Protection Group 7-Day Security Academy is a comprehensive, Utah-approved armed training program designed to exceed the standards set by the Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL). Spanning 40 hours of intensive instruction, the curriculum serves as the definitive pathway for individuals seeking the Armed Private Security Officer licensure in the state of Utah. Participants are immersed in a high-stakes learning environment that balances legal theory—covering Utah Code Title 58-63 and the nuances of Use of Force—with critical hands-on skills such as defensive tactics, de-escalation techniques, and emergency medical response. Beyond the state-mandated basics, PPG integrates its elite "Security Academy" philosophy, emphasizing professional report writing, radio etiquette, and behavioral threat assessment. The course culminates in an advanced firearms qualification and scenario-based "shoot house" simulations, ensuring that every graduate is not only licensed but possesses the tactical proficiency and ethical grounding required to represent the PPG brand in high-threat environments. Students will receive certifications in First Aid/ AED/ CPR / BLS, Armed Security status for Utah, Baton, OC Spray, Taser, and the Byrna Weapons system. Also students will be able to obtain a Utah CCW.
