Meet the Team

PPG Security Academy is the training division of Priority Protection Group, LLC;

a Contract Security Company and PI Agency licensed in Utah.

President

Gordon Brennan

Mr. Brennan is an authority in executive protection, behavioral threat assessments, workplace concerning behavior training, and relationship management. He advocates for security leaders to have a voice in shaping the culture and policies of organizations, making room for "workplace peace of mind" and reassurances of safety for employees.

Mr. Brennan is a former U.S. Secret Service Agent and Army Veteran. He holds a Master's Degree in Homeland Security, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He is a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and is a licensed user of the Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk (WAVR-21), and Communications Threat Assessment Protocol (CTAP-25).

Senior Trainer

David Pisciotta Jr.

Mr. Pisciotta is an experienced trainer who is comfortable instructing security personnel, corporate teams, school teachers, law enforcement officers, real estate agents, and individuals and families on topics of firearm proficiency and safety, security best practices, formal security policies and procedures, federal, state, and local laws, and codes and regulations that govern the security industry.

As a former federal and local law enforcement officer and ERT team member, he adds value to our clients with his proven experience in security, protection, emergency response, and conflict resolution. He leads cross functional teams to achieve precise outcomes, and is confident and effective in his innovative strategies.

Director of Operations

Cruz Munoz

Mr. Munoz is the backbone of PPG's Promise to, "Elevate the status-quo of the security guard industry". He ensures our personnel are trained to surpass client expectations and he leads by example. His passion is evident through his attention to detail and proficiency which spreads to all levels of our security personnel.

With over 14 years of combined experience in law enforcement, government security contracts, planning special operations and managing high risk situations; he is also a licensed instructor in firearms, less-lethal tools, Utah's armed and unarmed private security training. Mr. Munoz has held positions of Lieutenant as a Federal Security Officer, and General Manager of a private security company.

Trainer

Tyson Taylor

Mr. Taylor consistently exceeds expectations and continues to receive praise from numerous clients. He focuses on mastering new skills which come easily for him due to his impeccable work ethic and positive attitude.

Mr. Taylor is a licensed firearms instructor and U.S. Army Reserve Servicemember. He steps up decisively when presented the opportunity, and has experience in executive protection, and transportation of goods and individuals. Commitment and reliability are the pillars of his reputation.
