PPG Security Academy is the training division of Priority Protection Group, LLC;
a Contract Security Company and PI Agency licensed in Utah.

President
Gordon Brennan
Mr. Brennan is an authority in executive protection, behavioral threat assessments, workplace concerning behavior training, and relationship management. He advocates for security leaders to have a voice in shaping the culture and policies of organizations, making room for "workplace peace of mind" and reassurances of safety for employees.
Mr. Brennan is a former U.S. Secret Service Agent and Army Veteran. He holds a Master's Degree in Homeland Security, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He is a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and is a licensed user of the Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk (WAVR-21), and Communications Threat Assessment Protocol (CTAP-25).
Mr. Brennan’s expertise is rooted in over a decade of service and leadership in the U.S. Army and the United States Secret Service, where he developed specialized skills in protective intelligence, dignitary protection, and threat management. His unique experience provides clients with practical, real-world insight into mitigating risk, preventing targeted violence, and fostering safe, resilient workplace environments.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Homeland Security and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, combining advanced academic knowledge with operational expertise. Mr. Brennan is an active member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and is a licensed practitioner of the Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk (WAVR-21) and the Communications Threat Assessment Protocol (CTAP-25).
As a consultant, trainer, and public speaker, Mr. Brennan advocates for empowering organizational leaders to take a proactive stance in safety culture development—integrating behavioral awareness, early intervention strategies, and professional security measures. His approach emphasizes the concept of “workplace peace of mind,” where employees and executives alike can perform confidently in environments designed for both productivity and protection.

Under his leadership, Priority Protection Group continues to raise the standard for private security, executive protection, and threat management services throughout the region.

Special Programs Manager
David Pisciotta
Mr. David Pisciotta, serves as the Special Programs Manager for Priority Protection Group (PPG), where he oversees advanced training programs, specialized protective operations, and tactical preparedness initiatives for both private and corporate clients. His extensive experience in law enforcement, emergency response, and professional instruction allows him to design and implement programs that meet—and consistently exceed—industry standards for performance, safety, and compliance.
Mr. Pisciotta, a former law enforcement officer and current security professional, possesses extensive real-world expertise in protective operations, firearms proficiency, crisis management, and conflict resolution. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and has successfully completed training at both the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and the state of Nevada’s POST Firearms Instructor programs. His leadership ensures that personnel and clients at PPG are equipped with training not only in tactical competencies but also in decision-making under pressure, situational awareness, and ethical responses.

At Priority Protection Group, Mr. Pisciotta is instrumental in the development and delivery of firearm and tactical training programs, ranging from foundational courses for new security professionals to advanced-level instruction for Executive Protection teams. His programs emphasize both technical mastery and legal accountability, integrating federal, state, and local laws, as well as security industry regulations and best practices.

In addition to training PPG staff, Mr. Pisciotta regularly instructs corporate teams, school faculty, real estate professionals, law enforcement officers, and private citizens on topics such as workplace safety, threat recognition, emergency response, and personal protection strategies. His approachable teaching style and focus on practical, actionable skills have earned him recognition as a trusted authority and mentor in the field of protective services.
Through his leadership, Priority Protection Group continues to set the benchmark for professional training excellence and tactical readiness across Utah and the surrounding region.
